Set during the American Revolution (1754–1783), Assassin’s Creed III follows Connor (Ratonhnhaké:ton), a half-Native American, half-British Assassin seeking justice and freedom. After witnessing his village’s destruction by the Templars, Connor joins the Assassin Brotherhood to fight against tyranny.

Guided by mentor Achilles Davenport, Connor battles the Templars, led by Charles Lee and his own father, Haytham Kenway. As war rages, he allies with historical figures like George Washington and plays a key role in shaping the new nation. Meanwhile, in the present day, Desmond Miles races against time to prevent a global catastrophe using Connor’s memories.
