Set years before the first God of War, Chains of Olympus follows Kratos on a mission from the gods to uncover the cause of a mysterious darkness swallowing the world. The sun has vanished, plunging the Earth into chaos. Sent to Attica, Kratos battles Persian invaders and a mighty basilisk, only to discover the real threat lies beyond the mortal realm.
