You play as Emmett Graves, a hired gunslinger who’s been partly transformed by Rift energy—a powerful and dangerous substance that corrupts anyone exposed to it. Emmett returns to his home planet, battling Outcasts and defending settlements against an endless war for resources.

With dynamic gameplay that blends fast-paced third-person shooting with real-time strategy, Starhawk allows players to call down structures like walls, turrets, and vehicles from orbit, building defenses mid-battle. The game’s single-player campaign explores Emmett’s struggle to protect his people while grappling with his own transformation, while the multiplayer mode brings massive battles with up to 32 players, letting them build, defend, and fight in sprawling, ever-changing battlefields.
